Need Help with z-demon trojan

go to the pest patrol site (they've been purchased by an inferior company,
so hurry up :) ) search for your demon. follow the instructions. they may
be involved and tedious, but be sure to do everything.

if nothing there, search on your demon in google and google groups (groups
is sort of a mess now.) follow up the links till you find a thorough
discussion of your problem and, again, follow the instructions.

oh, and write your congressmen and tell him/her/it to criminalize
downloading spyware and pop up trojans. And to put the perps in state
prisons, with guys that are five times as tough as them - but no more evil.
these things, legal now, can take a half day's to a full day's work to
remove. that's a lot of time and money being stolen from an awful lot of
people.

Exploit, which I realize is not a problem. But the scan stops midway with an
error during check: z-demon
And then a line of german language.
If I do a system restore, I get a notice on restart that the system could
not restore to that point (I've used several points with same results) but I
am able to access web pages and e-mails for a short amount of time, before
starting to get the "web page not available" errors.Then I have to attemtp a
system restore again.
I've been on Google, and to several sites, but none have helped. I'm not
running norton, I use AVG and Trend Micro. The only solution I've found is
for Norton users. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it! Thanks in advance,
